A horror car crash… That’s what my eyebrows looked like after a trip to a dodgy beautician 2 months ago. Needless to say I won’t be going back there! The right brow shape can totally make or break your look and after said beautician waxed my entire arch clean off; I have spent the last 2 months in hiding whilst growing them back. This is why it was so important to me to find a trustworthy professional to get my brows back into shape.
Benefit Cosmetics is an American cosmetics company, founded by two sisters. The products are quirky & fun, but also of a very high quality. Within Myer stores nationally, Benefit has opened their signature ‘brow bars’. The Benefit Brow bar is staffed with licensed professionals, highly trained in the art of brow shaping, so they’re always ready to wax and tweeze, primp and please. And to keep you hair-free and carefree below the brow, they also offer a range of other services, plus instant beauty solutions to make up your day.
The lovely girls performed a full ‘brow mapping’ on me, and explained to me the shape of my face and where my brows should sit. After shaping my brows, the girls helped me to find a perfect product that I could use daily to shape & fill. The Brow-zings kit contains a soft wax which is applied first to brow, using a small angled brush to define. Then with the blending brush, apply the loose powder to set the wax & fill in any sparse spots. The kit also contains tweezers for any strays. Brow-zings are easy to use and after having road-tested the kit by myself at home twice now, I am decidedly in love! The brow mapping & arch wax cost $27, and the Brow-zings kit cost $55.
